Workshop #1 Come along to join us for a fun night to paint, sip and chat. This workshop is the perfect opportunity to try something new, spend some quality time with your friends/partner/colleagues or even to come to alone and meet some like-minded people. Oh and of course… you will also finish with a funky functional ceramic cup that you can use everyday! Learn how to customise your very own pre-made Maeve keep cup, using underglaze and a clear gloss glaze to show off the beautiful natural grey stoneware clay underneath. Your keep cup will then be taken back to Maeve’s studio to be fired in her kiln and ready for you collect the following week from Milford, North Shore (address will be sent to you) or couriered to you at a small price. This class will run for approximately 90 minuets, please arrive 10 minuets in advance and allow time for parking if need be. See you there! Date & time: November 8th / 7:00pm-8:30pm Location: 10 Te Ara Tahuhu, Britomart, AKL Contents: - 1x keep cup to customise - 1x non-alcoholic bevy Questions: Do I need to come with anything? - No! We will have everything ready. Just come with a few ideas of what to paint. Do I need any skills/experience? - No! This is a beginner class & Maeve will be there to answer any questions. Why can’t I take my Keep Cup home straight away? - Your Keep Cup needs to go back into the kiln and be fired to 1250degrees in order to be made water tight and food safe. This takes around 20 hours.
